Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you teach, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. 1 Timothy 4:12 (NLT)

Youth Volleyball: Check out the pictures in the Photo Album of our Spring volleyball tournament. To celebrate the ending, we enjoyed a trip Texas to watch the Rangers beat the Oakland A's!
Flag Football: Our Flag Football tournament on December 13 was a huge success. We were able to have several teams compete, and we would like to thank everyone, including parents, who came out and participated. Another tournament is likely in the works and we hope to have one again soon.
89.7 Offering: November 12 we took up an offering for 89.7 Power F.M. This radio station broadcasts great christian rock music and sends out a powerful message as well. Since this radio station has no corporate sponsors (this makes it commercial free as well) it constantly needs funds to keep the station going.
Heaven's Gates, Hell's Flames: On November 2, we took a trip up to Sulphur, OK, to see a very moving play called Heaven's Gates, Hell's Flames. The play told several different stories about regular people who died, went to heaven, and found out if their name was in the Book of Life. It showed us all the wonderful things that could happen if we choose to live for God but it also showed us what could happen if we choose not to have a relationship with him.
Youth Rally: We attended the Associational Youth Rally in Madill on October 19, 2008. Food, giveaways and music! Can't beat that. Also, guest speaker, James Lankford, presented a faith message based on Matthew 17:14-20. Take a minute to read the passage and apply it to your life. You'll be glad you did.
Saw You At The Pole: What a great turnout! There were approximately 105 in attendance at our after pary, with students from Coleman and Caney. We enjoyed our time of fellowship with others from several different churches in the area. God is good!
See You At The Pole (SYATP): We gathered with students from across the community at the school flag pole to pray for our friends, school, teachers, government and nation.
Mercy Me Concert / Ranger Game: On August 2, we traveled to Arlington, Texas, to Rangers Ballpark . Mercy Me performed in a pre-game concert. Josh Hamilton made an appearance at the concert. Unfortunately the Rangers lost to the Blue Jays 4 - 6. It was HOT and we moved seats a few times, but we had a great time. See our pictures in the Photo section of the website.
